Joe Corcoran

Mr. Corcoran brings 13 years of experience in the lodging industry to TCOR Hotel Partners. Joe offers experience in multiple disciplines of the hospitality industry.

His background ranges from operational leadership to transactional expertise. Joe possesses an expansive network of relationships with brands, owners, lenders and operators. Most recently, Joe Corcoran served as Vice President in The Plasencia Groups Dallas, Texas office. Mr. Corcoran played an integral role for The Plasencia Groups Southwest Region investment advisory team.

Throughout his tenure at The Plasencia Group Joe represented, REIT’s, private equity groups, financial institutions, local owner/operators and life companies in their hotel dispositions. Additional responsibilities at The Plasencia Group included valuations, modeling, marketing, client relations and PIP evaluations.

​Prior to joining The Plasencia Group, Mr. Corcoran served as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Western International Hospitality where he directed sales departments for a sizeable portfolio of Marriott and Hilton branded properties across several Southwestern and Midwestern states. Before his tenure with Western International, Mr. Corcoran spent three years with InterContinental Hotels Group in Irvine, California, as a corporate sales manager. He began his career with Synergy Capital Mortgage as a senior loan officer.

​Mr. Corcoran earned his MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He is a graduate of Chapman University, where he obtained his undergraduate degree, with honors, in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Business Administration.
